Best 4K gaming monitors with 32“ screen

By Pánek Jan, published on November 18th, 2024

We pick the best gaming monitors with 4K resolution and 32" screen, we consider OLEDs, LCDs and different pricing categories for the end of 2024.

Disclaimer: This overview is based only on monitors we have tested. Also, monitor availability and pricing is considered for Central Europe, monitor availability and pricing may vary in your region.

Best OLED HDR 4K monitor

Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM

To be honest, you cannot make a mistake with any last-gen OLED monitor. They are superior in every possible category except they are pricier, they consume more electricity, dissipate more heat, and can suffer from burn-in. But if you have money and you want the very best, OLED is an obvious choice.

Asus ROG Swift PG32UCDM is a great example of a perfect OLED display. Near to zero response times, high refresh rate, awesome HDR and more. If you compare numbers to LCD, OLED is a clear winner.

Best LCD HDR 4K monitor

Philips 32M2N6800M

If you search for the best gaming 32“ 4K LCD monitor with HDR capabilities, Philips 32M2N6800M is the best LCD display we have tested in this category. Its HDR performance is really good and we did not see small problems like with BenQ EX321UX.

Philips is strong in every and each category, you can use it for gaming, working, SDR multimedia, and HDR multimedia. The price is reasonable but certainly not low. Monitor is worth the money but there are some good choices for even better prices.

Best budget HDR 4K gaming monitor

Acer Predator X32QFSbmii

With Acer Predator X32QFSbmii you can get almost the same performance as with the Philips. Acer is not as strong in HDR category but overall it trades blows with Philips even with its lower price. Unless you need the best, Acer is the better buy.

This monitor is great overall, has no obvious downsides and only small details hinder the impression. For example, performance at 60 Hz is not great, contrast ratio is a bit lower and there is no pivot. For its price it’s not bad at all.

Runner up…

Innocn 32M2V-B is also a great budget HDR 4K gaming monitor. It gets the runner-up spot because it focuses more on multimedia rather than gaming. Its performance in SDR multimedia is excellent and it’s also good for HDR multimedia.

It’s still solid for gaming but with the same price as the Acer it’s not the obvious choice. We can still recommend the Innocn in regions where availability and pricing differ in favour of Innocn.

Best non-HDR 4K gaming monitor

Lenovo Y32p-30

If you don’t need HDR capabilities, go with Lenovo Y32p-30. The performance is great, the price is reasonable, we don’t even recommend a budget alternative as there isn’t a significantly cheaper but still that great monitor that we have tested. (Maybe LG UltraGear 32GR93U-B could be a alternative in certain markets.)

Lenovo is great in every category with no downsides, it even has USB-C with PowerDelivery. We are simply happy to recommend this display.
